Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Consumer Loan Officer to join our team at Ent Credit Union. As a Consumer Loan Officer, you will be responsible for originating and closing consumer loans, providing exceptional customer service, and meeting or exceeding sales and service goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Originate and close consumer loans, including personal loans, auto loans, and other types of consumer credit products.
  • Conduct thorough credit analyses and make informed lending decisions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with members, understanding their financial needs and providing personalized solutions.
  • Meet or exceed sales and service goals, including loan volume and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and Ent Credit Union's policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as finance, business, or economics.
  • 2+ years of experience in consumer lending, including loan origination and credit analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of credit reporting, scoring, and lending regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with members, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Ent Credit Union's lending software and systems.
  • Knowledge of personal finance, including auto buying, real estate lending, and current affairs related to consumer finance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
