Key Responsibilities- Commercial Support: Provide task-driven commercial support related to specific products and customers, supporting sales in developing and maintaining business by offering rational and cost-effective solutions.
- Market Analysis: Liaise with commercial teams to understand market needs, quality requirements, and pricing positioning, offering bidding assistance for material selection and pricing determination.
- Product Development: Assist with costing and pricing guidance, margin analysis, and product development, including target market identification, competitive analysis, and value proposition development.
- Product Performance: Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, customer feedback, and market trends to make data-driven recommendations for product improvements.
- Competitor Analysis: Continuously monitor and analyze competitors' products and strategies to identify opportunities and threats in the market.
- Product Certifications: Assist with required product certifications, rationalizing creation of new product specifications versus standard products.
- Product Development Leadership: Steer a direct pillar in product development, with greater ownership and involvement in product development.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Liaise between various departments, including manufacturing, commercial, procurement, and logistics, to communicate business line needs.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent from a four-year college or university is required.
- Experience: 35 years of related business experience in a relevant market is required.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills are required.
