Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team at Calgon Carbon Corporation. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and testing various products, including disposorbs, vaporpacs, and high flow ventsorbs. You will also be responsible for performing general labor functions, such as sweeping floors, emptying trash, and operating fork trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and test products, including disposorbs, vaporpacs, and high flow ventsorbs
  • Perform general labor functions, such as sweeping floors, emptying trash, and operating fork trucks
  • Operate jib hoist and small power tools
  • Pressure test assembled units to meet necessary requirements
  • Recondition small returnable units, such as cyclesorbs and bulk bins
  • Assist in receiving and verification of quantities of materials and parts delivered to E&A
  • Read instructions and drawings as necessary for the reconditioning and assembly of standard products
  • Fabricate lined pipe (PPL and TFE) and cut, thread, and assemble carbon steel pipe, plastic pipe, and stainless steel pipe
  • Assist with warehousing duties and maintain CCC's service equipment
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • 0-2 years of general labor experience
  • Industrial labor experience preferred
