About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Caregiver Med Passer to join our team at New Perspective Senior Living. As a Caregiver Med Passer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and services to our residents by administering medication and treatments in a safe and organized manner.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments to residents in accordance with their individual care plans.
  • Document all medication administration and resident care in our electronic medical records system.
  • Collaborate with our nursing team to ensure accurate and timely medication administration.
  • Assist residents with self-administration of medications as needed.
  • Count and secure narcotics in accordance with company policy.
  • Participate in our life enrichment program to enhance the quality of life for our residents.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, including those related to resident confidentiality and safety.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be certified through the Ohio Board of Nursing.
  • Previous Med Passer experience required.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks.
  • Ability to make decisions and act in the best interest of our residents.
