About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Caregiver Medication Passer to join our team at New Perspective Senior Living. As a Caregiver Medication Passer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents by administering medications and treatments in a safe and organized manner.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments to residents in accordance with their individual care plans.
  • Document all medication administration in the Medication Administration Record (MAR).
  • Assist residents with self-administration of medications as needed.
  • Count and secure narcotics in accordance with company policy.
  • Participate in the life enrichment program and engage with residents to promote their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulations, including those related to resident confidentiality and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be certified through the Ohio Board of Nursing.
  • Previous Med Passer experience required.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks.
  • Ability to make decisions and act in the resident's best interest.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
  • Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
  • Competent in organizational and time management skills.
