Job Summary

As a Front End Cashier Supervisor at HomeGoods, you will be responsible for leading the frontline team to deliver a highly satisfied customer experience. You will drive customer loyalty through programs and initiatives, address customer concerns promptly, and train and mentor associates on policies and procedures. You will also maintain and monitor cash controls, adhere to labor laws and meal and break period policies, and assign registers and coordinate breaks to ensure optimized coverage.

  • Maintain and monitor cash controls
  • Adhere to labor laws and meal and break period policies
  • Assign registers and coordinate breaks
  • Audit and approve paperwork
  • Maintain cleanliness, recovery, and organizational standards
  • Monitor frontline equipment and communicate issues to management
  • Execute and adhere to company directives
  • Maintain and uphold merchandising standards
  • Adhere to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention policies
  • Ensure proper handling of damages and mark out of stock
  • Promote a safe environment and report safety hazards
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent degree preferred
  • Available to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  • Able to work as a team member
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Able to lift heavy merchandise with/without reasonable accommodations
  • Able to train and provide direction to others
  • Able to run a register/handle money
  • Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Experience as a coordinator or previous retail/supervisory experience preferred

This position has a starting pay range of $13.00 to $13.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
