Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Development Engineer to join our Analog Technology Development team at Texas Instruments. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the development, characterization, and optimization of MEMS resonator devices to meet the requirements for volume production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with design, process engineering, and process integration teams to develop mutually agreeable design specifications for manufacturing processes for advanced analog nodes.
  • Develop and improve mask/lithography/etch processes for next node analog nodes through photolithographic simulation and on-mask/wafer verification.
  • Collect, simulate, and verify optical proximity correction (OPC) models and recipes.
  • Partner with internal/external fabs to transfer processes for advanced analog nodes.
  • Troubleshoot photolithographic patterning/alignment related issues for all fabs within TI.
Requirements
  • Masters in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Chemistry, or related degree.
  • 5 years of experience in a semiconductor photolithography and/or OPC development.
  • Strong knowledge/understanding of advanced lithography processes, lithography simulation techniques, mask making, and OPC techniques used in semiconductor manufacturing and process development.
  • Willingness to work in a fab environment.
  • Ability to travel internationally.
  • Programming experience with Perl and Python.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Source mask optimization (SMO) simulation.
  • Lithography rule check software.
  • OPC model build experience.
  • Programming experience in a Unix environment.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions.
  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
