Role Summary
The Asset Protection Specialist will be responsible for the protection of the company's retail store assets by investigating loss of assets, including merchandise, money, and property. This role will work closely with the AP Manager to identify opportunities for improvement at the store level and deploy associates effectively. The Asset Protection Specialist will also prevent loss and shrink within the district and understand how to effectively deter theft on all levels.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Conduct investigations into loss of assets, including merchandise, money, and property.
  • Collaborate with the AP Manager to develop and implement strategies to prevent loss and shrink within the district.
  • Assist in the implementation and communication of company policies and procedures related to safety and security training programs.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge of criminal laws applicable to various state and local jurisdictions.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all investigation-related information.
  • Basic skills in MS Office.
