The Senior Operations Manager is a critical position at Lowe's, responsible for overseeing the flow of products through our distribution centers. This role requires a strong leader who can analyze and forecast production volume, reevaluate resources, and make data-driven decisions to meet store demand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of supervisors responsible for monitoring the safe, efficient, and effective movement of inventory through the facility.
  • Analyze and forecast production volume, reevaluating resources throughout the day as workflow conditions change.
  • Partner with senior leadership to achieve or exceed key performance indicator targets.
  • Resolve complex operational issues escalated from the team.
  • Communicate business objectives and daily workload plans to the team and senior leadership.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in distribution center operations or a related area, or 7 years of experience with increasing responsibilities.
  • Leadership experience with direct report responsibility, including leading salary-level direct reports.
  • Experience mentoring and coaching others, leading a team through change, and building a culture of safety.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing resources, time, and budgets.
  • Experience using troubleshooting processes to resolve problems.
  • Bi-lingual skills, if applicable to the facility.
