ASML US, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Materials Engineer to join our team in Wilton, Connecticut. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in materials science and engineering, with a focus on EUV lithography and vacuum technology.

The successful candidate will be responsible for specifying, designing, developing, and testing (sub-)modules and tools in cooperation with other disciplines and suppliers. This will involve working closely with the RHMD department to create the perfect environment within the vacuum reticle modules in cutting-edge EUV lithography machines.

The Materials Engineer will have a solid theoretical and practical experience with precision machined parts, optics, and mechatronics, ideally in the semiconductor industry. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role, as the candidate will need to communicate effectively with suppliers and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Specify, design, develop, and test (sub-)modules and tools
  • Work closely with the RHMD department to create the perfect environment within the vacuum reticle modules
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers and other stakeholders
  • Have a strong background in materials science and engineering, with a focus on EUV lithography and vacuum technology
  • Have a solid theoretical and practical experience with precision machined parts, optics, and mechatronics

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or related degree with a focus on material behavior and 3+ years of experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment
