About the Opportunity

Maintain all spare parts within the technical team, ensuring they are organized and readily available. This role is responsible for inventory, organizing, and cataloging all spare parts for the Technical Department within the spare parts area and in the EAM system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory, organize, and catalog all spare parts for the Technical Department.
  • Create Requisitions for all Technical Purchases.
  • Write EAs and Res in the PAR system.
  • Maintain Maintenance PM's for forklifts to ensure they are completed in a timely manner.
  • Contact vendors to obtain quotes.
  • Track and ensure contractor PM documentation is current.
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment, and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation.
  • Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S, and STW activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Performance Measures and Outcomes:
  • Safety metrics.
  • PM compliance.
  • Unplanned downtime.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience with a technical background.
  • Desired: Hydraulic/pneumatic troubleshooting, electrical troubleshooting, blueprint reading.
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Safety-sensitive position - ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner.
  • Ability to STOP-THINK-ACT and work safely.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based on the needs of the business.
  • Ability to work on a rotating shift.
  • Ability to work rotating job stations.
  • Ability to effectively work in teams.
  • Ability to professionally accept constructive feedback and criticism.
  • Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people.
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles.
  • Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
  • Ability to use formulas, theories, and measurements.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer programs that may pertain to maintenance of the equipment or building.
Travel Requirements:

5%-10% travel required.
