Position Overview

The Food Service Associate plays a crucial role in the preparation and presentation of all food and beverage offerings within the designated area. This position is responsible for ensuring that food items are presented to the highest standards. The associate will engage with patrons, assisting them with transactions at self-service kiosks, and may occasionally handle cash transactions as required. Consistent attendance in line with company policy is essential.

Compensation: This role offers an hourly wage of $9 plus tips.

Part-Time Benefits: 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all food and beverage items are adequately stocked in the assigned area.
  • Assist in order preparation, food assembly, packaging, and possess knowledge of all aspects of food service operations.
  • Maintain inventory levels and promptly communicate low stock items to management.
  • Listen to and address customer inquiries or concerns effectively.
  • Keep the workspace clean and organized, including proper disposal of waste and cleaning of utensils.
  • Serve beverages responsibly, including alcoholic options, while verifying guests' identification to comply with age regulations.
  • Adhere to sanitation, health, and safety standards within the work environment.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Preferred experience of three months or more in the food service sector.
  • Prior experience with point-of-sale systems or computer operations is advantageous.
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills and maintain a friendly, positive demeanor with colleagues, supervisors, volunteers, and guests.
