Job Summary

Integrated Deicing Services is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Deicer to join our team. As an Aircraft Deicer, you will be responsible for removing ice from aircraft, ensuring a safe and efficient deicing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect aircraft for ice and frozen contamination
  • Apply deicing fluid to aircraft using specialized equipment
  • Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed
  • Participate in pre-planning for deicing events, including equipment checks and fueling
  • Perform shutdown procedures, including paperwork and log book maintenance
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Ability to read, write, and understand instructions in English
  • Valid driver's license
  • Successful completion of airport badging or background check process
Work Environment

The Aircraft Deicer will work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to prevalent weather, dust, dirt, fuel, fumes, and noise. Prolonged periods of standing and physical activity are required.

Physical Demands
  • Ability to squat, stoop, kneel, bend, stretch, crawl, climb ladders, and work at heights
  • Ability to speak and hear efficiently in safety-sensitive environments
