Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a skilled caregiver responsible for overseeing a group of patients during a specific time period. Utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with other healthcare team members, the RN delivers comprehensive care to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and developing individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Supervise and support nursing staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of policies and procedures that enhance patient care.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Preferably hold a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related field.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse patient populations.
- Basic understanding of computer systems and electronic medical records.
Experience:
- Prior experience in an acute care hospital setting is highly desirable.
Licenses/Certifications/Registrations:
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of employment or in a compact state.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
