Medical Equipment Repairer Job Description

As a Medical Equipment Repairer in the Army National Guard, you will play a vital role in ensuring that healthcare personnel have access to functioning equipment to provide the best possible care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on medical equipment to prevent malfunctions
  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic medical equipment
  • Install and configure medical equipment to meet specific requirements
  • Prepare and submit reports on medical equipment maintenance and repairs
Required Skills:
  • Experience working with electronic test equipment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Training and Certification:

You will receive comprehensive training in medical equipment repair and maintenance, including practice in repairing and replacing equipment parts. Upon completion of your training, you may be eligible for certification as a Certified Electronics Technician at the Associate Level or Journeyman Level-Medical.
