Ethicon, a part of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, is seeking a talented Global Supply Chain Planning Co-Op to join the External Manufacturing Planning team.
As a key member of our Supply Chain Planning Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patients and doctors receive the surgical devices they need when they need them.
Responsibilities:- Conduct planning activities for one of Ethicon's external manufacturers, developing detailed supply plans to coordinate production.
- Own the end-to-end Order Management process, including placing new purchase orders, developing purchase forecasts, and performing virtual receipts.
- Identify and escalate product vulnerabilities to cross-functional business partners and stakeholders.
- Improve capabilities and effectiveness of the Sales & Operations Planning process.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics, offering insights and suggestions for improvement.
- Design and implement improvements to new and existing processes, benefiting the Planning team and broader organization.
- Become a team Subject Matter Expert for multiple ERP systems, including SAP and JD Edwards.
- Utilize Data Visualization and Analytics tools to own and execute critical reports and dashboards for multiple Supply Chain teams.
- Lead a continuous improvement project from planning through implementation, aiming for a Lean Yellow Belt Certification from JNJ.
- Enrolled in an accredited college/university, pursuing an undergraduate degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- Available to work full-time, with classes taken during evenings or weekends if required.
- Experience with Lean or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with SQL and/or ERP systems.
This position is primarily located in Raritan, NJ, with other Johnson and Johnson locations potentially considered.
This role may require up to 10% travel.
