As a Senior Demand Planner, you'll play a critical role in driving our mission forward by ensuring high levels of customer availability while optimizing inventory levels and finished goods scrap.

The Opportunity

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Demand Planner to join our team in Raritan, NJ or San Diego, CA. As a key member of our supply chain team, you'll work closely with regional marketing, sales, and finance teams to ensure accurate forecasts and drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and/or forecast finished goods requirements using SAP APO DP, projecting inventory levels, calculating safety stock, and monitoring deviations from projected targets.
  • Conduct monthly S&OP reviews with internal and external customers, tracking and reporting on deviations from forecasts, and monitoring levels and fulfillment of customer backorders.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis of supply plans, scrap projections, demand, and inventory, providing recommendations to management to achieve finished goods inventory or scrap targets and support financial goals.
  • Accountable for finished goods inventory plans, developing inventory projections, monitoring progress, and adjusting plans as required.
  • Identify and drive plans for improvement of supply chain metrics, such as forecast accuracy, bias, inventory, scrap, and availability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of supply chain experience in a matrix environment.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and planning processes.
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes, inventory, and business case scenario planning.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities, manage complex projects, and work as a team player.
Preferred Qualifications
  • SAP experience.
  • APICS certification.
  • Proficiency with MS Access.
Work Environment

Typical office environment with occasional light lifting of files and related materials. Up to 10% domestic travel may be required.
