Technology Leadership Program: Drive Innovation for Investor Results

Vanguard's Technology Leadership Program is a two-year rotational development program designed for graduating college seniors who are eager to develop their technical expertise in Investment Systems while building their leadership skills.
Program OverviewThe program consists of three, eight-month rotations in our Investment Systems IT division, providing participants with hands-on experience in software development and the opportunity to practice Agile & LEAN methodologies in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Build high-impact solutions that enable Vanguard to perform at its best and deliver exceptional results for investors
- Support the achievement of client outcomes and provide investors with the best chance at investment success
- Gain expertise in software development and contribute to the development of innovative IT solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and share insights to drive individual and team success
- Develop a network with program managers, alumni, senior leaders, and peers to foster growth and development
- Demonstrate the ability to balance technical and non-technical work, including program committees, internship support, and development of peers
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with a concentration in computer science, computer engineering, IST, IT, CIS, or related technical/engineering subject matter
- Strong interest in financial services, finance industry, and/or investment systems
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
- Demonstrated leadership skills and/or leadership aspirations
- Effective analytical, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a team-oriented environment
