Position Overview:
As a Superintendent, you will be instrumental in overseeing and managing all facets of construction, ensuring compliance with established quality benchmarks, construction timelines, budgets, approved designs, and customer satisfaction objectives.
Responsibilities:
1. Project Management:
- Oversee and direct all phases of construction projects, from initiation to completion.
- Ensure adherence to established quality benchmarks, construction timelines, and approved designs.
- Be directly accountable for customer satisfaction objectives and uphold high standards of craftsmanship.
- Conduct daily site inspections to verify compliance with plans, specifications, and quality control standards.
- Manage trade compliance with contract documents and work scopes.
- Coordinate with trades and suppliers to maintain project timelines and completion schedules.
- Coordinate the release, verification, and approval of all material deliveries.
- Ensure material quantity and quality consistency with orders.
- Approve bills of lading, delivery tickets, invoices, etc., ensuring proper documentation for the Project Manager.
- Participate in the development and management of project site safety plans.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations on the project site.
- Prepare daily logs, weekly payroll time sheets, checklists, and quality control reports.
- Collaborate with Senior Project Management on trade contractor invoices and draw-related issues.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in mid to high-rise residential construction.
- Demonstrated success in managing construction projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of trade compliance, quality control, and safety regulations.
- Exceptional organizational and communication abilities.
- Proven ability to operate within established budgets and timelines.
