Job Summary:
Sparrow Health System is seeking a skilled X-ray Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating radiographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Your expertise will be essential in providing accurate and timely imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate radiographic equipment to produce clinical diagnostic x-ray images as directed by physicians.
- Perform routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices.
- Prepare patient and adjust equipment for taking x-rays.
- Position and instruct patient regarding procedures.
- Take x-ray images of specified body/parts as ordered, following established procedures.
Requirements:
- Current Radiography Experience required.
- Experience working in a hospital environment.
- Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology.
- Must be Board Eligible and Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography within 6 months of hire.
Work Environment:
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to multitask effectively. You will be working in a hospital setting, and must be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
