Job Summary

The Registered Nurse - Unit Manager at Genesis HealthCare plays a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This leadership position involves collaborating with the nursing management team to maintain safe nursing practices, mentoring staff, and participating in interdisciplinary patient care initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Mentor and educate nurses on best practices and quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure adequate staffing and resources
  • Participate in developing and implementing patient care plans that achieve positive clinical outcomes
  • Oversee medication management to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A graduate degree in nursing from an accredited institution
  • At least one year of nurse leadership experience
  • Current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the state where the nursing center is located
  • BLS/CPR certification
