About the Role:

  • Specialize in nuclear medicine technology, utilizing advanced imaging techniques to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Operate complex medical equipment, such as gamma cameras and positron emission tomography (PET) scanners, to capture high-quality images for diagnosis.
  • Analyze data and results, identifying potential health issues and suggesting appropriate courses of action.
  • Maintain detailed records of patient procedures, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field.
  • Current licensure or certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (CNMT or NMTCB).
  • Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine principles, radiation safety protocols, and quality assurance guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare teams, and management.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods, with regular travel between departments and facilities.
