Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to lead our Preschool classrooms. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a comprehensive program of activities that promote the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily class functions of a group of children
  • Assess each child's individual ongoing developmental needs
  • Implement an approved lesson plan and daily classroom schedule
  • Work with Assistant Teachers and the Director in planning parent-teacher conferences and student evaluations
  • Attend all required staff meetings, workshops, and school functions
  • Comply with all applicable local, state, or federal regulatory rules and laws pertaining to the health, safety, and care of children
Requirements
  • Must be Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) qualified under local, state, and federal regulations
  • Must pass all required background checks
  • Must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
  • Occasional lifting up to 35 lbs.
  • Frequent walking, standing, sitting, kneeling, crawling, squatting, reaching, bending, and crouching
Compensation and Benefits
  • This role pays up to $19.25-$24.25 per hour with relevant experience and qualifications
  • $500 Sign on bonus, free child care
