About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team in Tucson, Arizona. This is a full-time opportunity working 40 hours per week with an 8-hour day shift.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide specific nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). They will be responsible for preparing hospital rooms for new admissions, anticipating patient needs, and responding to patient requests in a timely and appropriate manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent patient experience consistent with Relationship-Based Care.
  • Perform patient rounding according to unit-specific guidelines.
  • Ensure the environment is orderly and comfortable.
  • Demonstrate courtesy, respect, and professionalism when interacting with patients and families.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (G.E.D.).
  • Completion of PCT training, CNA training, or equivalent training program.
  • CPR Certification.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work variable shifts, holidays, and/or weekends.
  • The ability to perform required duties, including lifting and transferring, using proper body mechanics.
What We Offer
