We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team at Wallick Communities. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care are consistently met for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional nursing services to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Work collaboratively with our nursing staff to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
- Oversee the med cart and ensure accurate medication administration.
- Participate in on-call rotations with the Director of Care to ensure 24/7 coverage.
- Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident care and address any concerns.
- Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Train new nursing staff and provide ongoing support and guidance.
- Identify and address quality-assurance auditing issues to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Valid Ohio Nursing License.
- Previous experience working in an Assisted Living or Memory Care Community is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work every other weekend and holiday rotation.
