Health First seeks a full-time APRN Certified Nurse Midwife to provide comprehensive prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care in inpatient and outpatient settings. Key Responsibilities:
* Practice midwifery within the scope of license, training, and credentialing.
* Collaborate with and act as a liaison among the nurse, patient, family, physician, and community resources for coordination of patient care.
* Perform postpartum rounds, manage laboring patients, attend vaginal deliveries, and assist with cesarean sections.
* Conduct physical exams, collect and document data, conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order and schedule laboratory studies and consultations, and prescribe appropriate interventions and medications.
* Assist in obstetrical and/or gynecologic surgery and perform in-office procedures.
* Share on-call responsibilities with other providers and be a flexible team player, helping other providers and staff as needed.
Requirements:
* APRN certification and licensure
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Strong clinical skills and knowledge of midwifery practices
