Job Overview

McKim & Creed, Inc. is a leading engineering and geomatics firm seeking a highly motivated Hydrographic Surveyor to join our team. As a Hydrographic Surveyor, you will play a critical role in assisting with Hydrographic Survey activities, conducting field data collection using advanced techniques, and operating survey vessels to acquire data using various methods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning and execution of Hydrographic Survey projects.
  • Collect and analyze data using advanced survey techniques and software, including Hypack.
  • Operate survey vessels and equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency during small vessel operations.
  • Maintain and operate boats and equipment, adhering to strict safety protocols.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • USCG license and TWIC card eligibility.
  • 5 years of experience in marine environments, with a strong understanding of geomatics and survey techniques.
  • Proficiency in Hypack software and CAD, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and clean record.
