Position Overview

The Equipment Operator plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe handling of equipment within the Service Center. Responsibilities include the precise movement, stacking, and loading of products, as well as the consolidation and staging of pallets for storage. This position may require operating machinery at heights of up to 30 feet. Additionally, Automation Operators are tasked with maximizing throughput, performing initial troubleshooting of equipment issues, and utilizing computer logs to communicate labor requirements effectively.

This is a seasonal role with the potential for extension based on operational needs.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Available Shifts
  • Full-Time Seasonal: Monday to Friday, 07:30 AM to 04:00 PM

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to OSHA safety standards while operating power equipment such as swing reach trucks, reach trucks, and order pickers.
  • Accurately move, stack, and load products, while consolidating and staging pallets, ensuring safe maneuvering in tight spaces and pedestrian areas.
  • Provide feedback on operational areas needing improvement to supervisors or management.
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years or older, possess a positive attitude, be eager to learn, collaborate effectively, and prioritize customer satisfaction.
  • Candidates should be capable of standing, walking, and lifting heavy boxes, meeting vision requirements, and fulfilling other physical demands as per labor regulations.

Benefits

Compensation: $19.06/hr plus a $1.25 shift premium for hours worked.

  • Wage increases of $0.26 after 90 days, 6 months, 12 months, and 18 months of service, totaling up to $1.00/hr on top of the base rate.

Attendance Bonus: Earn a $40 bonus weekly, equating to an additional $1 per hour (eligibility and policy rules apply).
