Job Summary:

This is a highly responsible supervisory, administrative, and participatory position as Clerk of the District Court. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the civil, criminal, limited civil, small claims, probate, juvenile, adoption, traffic, and care and treatment functions of the Unified District Court. The ideal candidate will have complete knowledge of all computer programs, including accounting, docketing, traffic, budget, and judge's docket to be effective.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the coordination of various activities and subordinate personnel to ensure the case processing systems and procedures are efficient, effective, and compatible throughout the Court.
  • Develop and maintain systems and procedures and organizational efforts required to process and monitor caseload activities.
  • Ensure complete knowledge of all computer programs, including accounting, docketing, traffic, budget, and judge's docket.

Requirements:
  • Graduation from high school or equivalency.
  • Three years of clerical and administrative experience, including at least one year of court or other related legal experience.
  • Knowledge of modern office practices and computer programs.
