Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A BSN Graduate of an approved College of Nursing.
  • A Master's degree in Nursing, Health Administration, or a related field, or a plan for completion within a specific period of time.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Previous experience of 2-4 years as a Nurse Manager in a hospital of comparable size and/or accountability.
Skills and Abilities

You will need to:

  • Uphold and role model behaviors of professionalism.
  • Remain knowledgeable in advances in the healthcare environment through continuing education.
  • Be active in community/professional organizations.
Working Conditions and Requirements

This role will require you to:

  • Work in a clean, air-conditioned area.
  • Varies according to daily tasks, i.e., administrative versus clinical.
Preferred Certifications

Nationally recognized certification is preferred.
