Palmetto Moon is a rapidly growing specialty apparel, accessories, home, and gifts retailer celebrating the southern lifestyle. As a Sales Associate, you will be part of a fun, energetic company with a relentless focus on customer service. Our stores carry a wide selection of collegiate gear and lifestyle brands, including Vineyard Vines, YETI, Chubbies, Patagonia, and many more.

We are seeking energetic and friendly Sales Associates to join our team. The most important responsibility at Palmetto Moon is taking care of the customer. You must be friendly and interact with customers and associates in a positive way. As a Sales Associate, you will report directly to the Store Manager and management team. Your responsibilities will include assisting with product inquiries, shipment, inventory, register, merchandising, and replenishment.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
  • Provide product knowledge to our customers
  • Work as part of a team to meet individual and store objectives
  • Be aware of any back stock and replenish sales floor as needed
  • Floor coverage flexibility; be visible on the selling floor
  • Know and properly execute POS procedures to ensure a quick transaction
  • Effectively handle multiple customers
  • Practice suggestive selling
  • Communicate effectively with associates and management
  • Maintain a professional attitude
  • Package merchandise with care
  • Aware of shortages

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 16 years old to apply
