Electrophysiology Technician Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Electrophysiology Technician to join our team at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital. As an EP Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our physicians in performing invasive EP procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and prepare equipment and supplies for procedures
  • Assist in soothing and positioning patients for optimal comfort and safety
  • Maintain sterile techniques to prevent infection and ensure patient safety
  • Monitor patients during procedures and provide support to the physician as needed
  • Transport patients to recovery and assist with post-procedure care
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Anatomy, Physiology, or a related field
  • RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RCES (Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist) certification preferred
  • Two years of experience in Electrophysiology
  • ACLS and BLS certification required
