Job Title: Electrophysiology Technician

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Technician to join their team in Hudson, Florida. As an Electrophysiology Technician, you will play a vital role in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias.

Job Summary:

The Electrophysiology Technician will be responsible for preparing patients for electrophysiology procedures, operating electrophysiology equipment, and assisting physicians during procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for electrophysiology procedures, including explaining the procedure, obtaining informed consent, and positioning the patient.
  • Operate electrophysiology equipment, including electrocardiograms, Holter monitors, and electrophysiology labs.
  • Assist physicians during procedures, including inserting catheters, administering medications, and monitoring the patient's vital signs.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including medical history, test results, and procedure notes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Current certification as an Electrophysiology Technician or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
