Position Summary

The Aircraft Fueling Specialist plays a crucial role in the fueling and servicing of aircraft, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of fueling equipment. Key responsibilities include:
  • Conducting fueling and de-fueling operations safely and efficiently.
  • Maintaining accurate records of fuel transactions.
  • Performing de-icing procedures as necessary.
  • Keeping fueling equipment clean and operational.
  • Ensuring proper loading and balancing of fuel.
  • Utilizing fuel trucks, hydrant carts, and stationary carts for aircraft fueling.

Essential Duties

The following tasks are essential to the role, in addition to those outlined above. Duties may be performed in various weather conditions, including precipitation, extreme temperatures, and exposure to noise and jet engine fumes. Responsibilities include:
  • Regularly standing, walking, and using hands for tasks.
  • Lifting and moving items weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Safely operating company vehicles.
  • Performing basic mathematical calculations related to weight, measurement, and volume.
  • Communicating effectively in English with colleagues and customers.
  • Wearing the designated uniform and insignia as required.
  • Reporting to work consistently and punctually.
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • High school diploma or GED; three to six months of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Ability to pass background checks, drug tests, and maintain airport security credentials.
  • Legal authorization to work in the country of employment.
  • Familiarity with fueling and de-fueling procedures for various aircraft and ground equipment is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid state driver's license.
  • Successful completion of the company's training program.
  • Commercial Driver License (for specific locations).
Compensation for this position varies based on several factors, including skills, education, responsibilities, and experience. The pay range for this role is competitive.
