Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team at Tenet-AZ Region. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients within an assigned unit, coordinating care planning with other disciplines as needed.
  • Render individualized, age-specific, and direct bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs.
  • Act as a supervisor, assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care.
  • Systematically evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals.
  • Participate in hourly rounding and observe safety guidelines and safe work practices.
  • May be asked to be in charge for a shift(s).
Requirements
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional periods of above-average pressure.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • BSN preferred.
  • 1 year of hospital experience.
  • Certification in specialty area of practice preferred.
