Equipment Management

Client Relations

  • Delivers exceptional service, striving to surpass the expectations of both internal and external clients.
  • Maintains positive communication and relationships with all clients.
  • Collaborates with the internal team to devise event solutions before and during the event, ensuring optimal customer satisfaction.
  • Understands and nurtures the relationship with hotel clients.

Training and Development

  • Fosters an environment conducive to the growth of technical and leadership skills among team members.
  • Provides mentorship and guidance to technical, sales, and operations staff to enhance their technical capabilities.

Event Oversight

  • Engages in advanced tasks related to event operations, both pre-event and post-event.
  • Supervises and directs fellow technicians during events.

Equipment Care

  • Assists the team in the secure storage, transportation, and maintenance of equipment.
  • Conducts inventory assessments and forecasts equipment requirements.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
  • Encore Technical Level 3 Certification is mandatory; new team members must achieve certification within 30 days of joining.
  • Two Encore Technical Level Two Core Certifications are required (Audio, Lighting, Projection, Video, Scenic); new team members must be certified by a qualified proctor within 60 days.
  • A minimum of 4 years of field experience in the relevant specialty area is essential.
  • 3-5 years of experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse workforce, clientele, and senior management.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and initiatives effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with clients and colleagues.
  • A valid driver’s license is required for positions that may involve operating company vehicles.

Work Environment

This role is performed in a hotel or convention center setting, with moderate exposure to outdoor elements and varying noise levels. Team members will utilize high-end audiovisual equipment and may work at heights using lifts and ladders. Flexibility in working hours is necessary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
