Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Albany Medical Center. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage patients, including ordering diagnostic tests, consultations, and therapeutic interventions.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care, taking into account patient needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health and wellness.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of New York.
  • Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

This role requires standing, walking, and lifting, with occasional pushing, pulling, and climbing. The ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment is essential.
