Electrical QA/QC Inspector Job Description

LotusWorks is a leading Engineering Services provider specializing in managing Commissioning, Construction Services, Calibration, Operations & Maintenance scopes of work within global manufacturing facilities. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct scheduled field inspections to ensure Electrical related equipment and related QC documentation meet quality standards and project specifications.
  • Review quality and commissioning records pertaining to electrical distribution equipment, identifying and documenting any defects or non-conformances.
  • Maintain records of all inspections and tests conducted, as well as any issues identified and resolved.
  • Provide feedback to project stakeholders and construction teams on quality-related issues and collaborate to resolve problems.
  • Execute field inspections of strategic equipment and systems critical to ensure successful and timely startup.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and client stakeholders on project progress, issues identified, corrective actions, and planned activities.
  • Prepare equipment and system turnover documents for system owners.
  • Develop and implement inspection templates to formalize, streamline, and document inspection results.
  • Manage and track resolution of NCRs uploaded into client's specified management system.
  • Ensure review of quality documentation submitted by trades per the commissioning schedule.
  • Support overall service delivery, including safety, quality, and value to the client.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the semiconductor sector or other large facilities, such as Pharmaceutical, Automotive, Data Centers, etc.
  • Prior experience in conducting QA/QC inspections to identify and document issues not meeting project specifications and contract documents.
  • Prior experience and skilled in conducting meetings with project stakeholders using relevant data and clear communication.
  • Prior experience in writing weekly reports and executing data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to interpret project design drawings and specifications relating to a range of controls and electrical systems supporting advanced manufacturing.
  • Experience in documenting and reporting inspection results and proficiency with Office 365 products.
Education / Licenses / Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is a plus, but not required.
  • Journeyman's license is a plus, but not required.
  • QA/QC qualifications preferred.
  • Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.
