Job Summary:

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and qualified Deaf/Hard of Hearing teacher to provide services to students in need. This is a full-time W2 contracted position for the remainder of the school year, with contract renewals available for those interested and if determined to be a good fit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide educational services to students with hearing impairments
  • Utilize assistive technologies to support student learning needs
  • Collaborate with educational teams to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Stay up-to-date with federal and state laws and regulations related to special education, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field
  • Licensed Deaf/Hard of Hearing teacher in California
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience working with deaf and hard of hearing students
