Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate occupational therapist to work with our patients, assessing their strengths and weaknesses to develop effective treatment plans. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical decision-making skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to providing positive and supportive environments for our patients.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and record patient care data accurately and efficiently, following established guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations, reassessments, and progress reports, communicating effectively with interdisciplinary teams and patients.
  • Select and administer relevant tests and measures, synthesizing results to formulate diagnoses, goals, and treatment plans.
  • Establish and implement treatment plans, collaborating with patients, support systems, and interdisciplinary teams as needed.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their support systems, focusing on functional independence and community reintegration.
  • Collaborate with support staff, including COTAs and OT aides, to ensure seamless patient care delivery.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy required; Doctoral degree preferred.
  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with current registration and certification.
  • Valid CPR license and completion of state-regulated CEU requirements.
  • Experience with EMR software and proficiency in basic computer skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, strong clinical decision-making, and 1+ year of professional experience as an OT.
