Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the recruitment, retention, and development of a skilled and motivated workforce to fulfill operational needs.
- Collaborate with team members to identify training requirements, develop personalized performance plans, and assess employee performance.
- Ensure the ongoing operation of facilities in a safe, efficient, and reliable manner, including the timely execution of necessary maintenance tasks.
- Guarantee adherence to federal, state, and local regulations regarding pipeline and employee safety, operator qualifications, environmental responsibility, and ethical business practices.
- Support external compliance and risk management audits as necessary.
- Develop and manage operational and maintenance budgets, as well as capital expenditure budgets.
- Ensure the safe and timely execution of projects and related work plans involving natural gas handling.
- Inform the public, first responders, excavation contractors, and government officials about pipeline operations, focusing on incident prevention and emergency resolution.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related technical field preferred, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
8+ years of relevant experience with a proven track record of increasing leadership responsibilities.
Familiarity with policies, procedures, practices, operational philosophies, and regulations pertinent to the gas transportation sector.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in presentations.
Understanding of the gas transportation industry, including operations, relationships, and practices.
Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities, encompassing team building, employee development, mentoring, coaching, conflict resolution, and motivation.
Robust analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Project management expertise: ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Availability for problem resolution on a 24/7 basis.
Valid driver's license and capability to travel to remote locations.
