Speech Language Therapist for PreK-6th Grade Students

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Belle Chasse, LA.
Job OverviewAs an SLPA with ProCare Therapy, you will have the opportunity to support students in PreK through 6th grade at two school sites. You will be working closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with varying levels of speech and language disorders.
Responsibilities- Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP to help students achieve their communication goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students under SLP supervision, including one-on-one sessions and group interventions.
- Assist with documentation of student progress and therapy sessions to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Support the development of students' communication skills in individual and group settings, promoting active participation and engagement.
- A valid Louisiana SLPA license is required.
- Experience working with PreK-6th grade students is preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for successful collaboration with school staff and effective time management.
