Electrophysiology Technologist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Technologist to join our team at a leading hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. As an EP Technologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac rhythm disorders.

Job Summary

This is a 10-hour day shift position that requires a high level of professionalism and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in an applied EP setting and a valid license or certification in the state of practice.

Responsibilities
  • Perform electrophysiology procedures, including catheter ablations and pacemaker implantations
  • Operate and maintain EP lab equipment, including catheters and recording systems
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatments
  • Provide exceptional patient care and education
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and staff satisfaction

Qualifications

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:

  • 2 years of experience in an applied EP setting
  • Valid license or certification in the state of practice, if applicable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism during stressful times
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Background and drug screen
