New Gig Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented professional with a strong background in tax accounting to manage and oversee complex tax matters. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in tax accounting, with a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to provide actionable insights to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for partnerships, high-net-worth individuals, C-Corporations, and S-Corporations.
  • Conduct tax research and provide well-reasoned recommendations on complex tax issues.
  • Analyze financial statements and transactions to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance.
  • Manage and review tax provisions and perform tax planning to optimize client tax positions.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for tax-related inquiries.
  • Stay current on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify potential opportunities or risks for clients.
  • Assist with tax audits and inquiries from regulatory agencies.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior tax staff.

Qualifications:

  • CPA license is preferred or EA license.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree in Taxation is a huge plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in tax accounting, with specific experience in partnerships, high-net-worth individuals, C-Corporations, and S-Corporations.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
  • Proficiency with tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
