Position Overview

Mountain Land Physical Therapy is on the lookout for a dedicated full-time Fitness and Rehabilitation Specialist to become part of our dynamic team. This role involves working closely with Registered Physical Therapists (RPT) to provide essential support in patient care. It’s an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to establish a career in the healthcare sector while receiving guidance to achieve personal and professional aspirations.

Compensation

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $12.50 to $16.64. Additionally, you will have the chance to engage in our Pre-PT Pathway program, designed to prepare you for entry into Physical Therapy school. Successful completion of this pathway, along with a minimum of 800 hours of service at Mountain Land, qualifies you for a scholarship of $3,000 for PT school ($1,500 for PT Assistant school) and a potential sign-on bonus of $5,000 if you return as a PT after graduation ($1,500 for PTA).

Role Responsibilities

As a Fitness and Rehabilitation Specialist, you will be trained to assist patients with their therapeutic needs, including exercises and regular check-ins. This position is tailored for recent graduates who may have limited experience in the medical field but possess a strong desire to learn and grow.

Training and Development

You will receive comprehensive on-the-job training alongside licensed Physical Therapists, preparing you for future roles such as Physical Therapists, Doctors, Athletic Trainers, or Healthcare Administrators. Your daily tasks will involve:

  • Assisting patients with their rehabilitation exercises.
  • Conducting check-ins to monitor patient progress.
  • Collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals.

Requirements

We are seeking candidates who are:
  • Enthusiastic about gaining clinical experience and pursuing a PT degree.
  • Passionate about health and wellness.
  • Possessing excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to commit to a consistent schedule, accommodating both work and academic commitments.
  • Preferred candidates will have an undergraduate degree in a health-related field.
