Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Ambulatory Care team. As a key member of our primary care clinical team, you will provide exceptional patient care, collaborate with providers and support staff, and contribute to the development of clinical care pathways for common neurosurgical conditions.
Responsibilities- Provide clinical nursing interventions, including evidence-based practice, patient education, and medication management.
- Collaborate with neurosurgical providers to ensure efficient and timely communication between primary care providers and specialists.
- Support the implementation of clinical care pathways for common neurosurgical conditions and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Utilize evidence-based ambulatory care nursing interventions during clinical visits, telephone encounters, and electronic communication.
- Document all patient interactions and clinical care in the electronic medical record, adhering to organizational standards and regulations.
- Perform care coordination, including abnormal results, triage, and management of in-baskets.
- Oversee clinical care essential to the assessment, promotion, maintenance, and restoration of patients' health and wellness.
- Minimize risk of harm to patients by following established nursing practices and protocols.
- Use information technology to communicate, manage knowledge, and mitigate errors.
- Use data to monitor the outcomes of care processes and support ethical decision-making.
- Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
- AHA BLS certification.
- 2+ years' experience as a Nurse in a primary care or ambulatory setting.
