Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist - Travel Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) for an immediate travel opening in a reputable healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience and possess strong knowledge of computed tomography equipment and patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
• Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as required
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
• Appropriately position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies
• Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues
• Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues
• Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
• Follow safety procedures when working with radiation
• Maintain accurate patient records

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience as a CT Tech
• BLS certification
• ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography
• State-specific licensing when required
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean or stoop easily
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
