Ultrasound Imaging Specialist

Firelands Health is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technician to join our team. As a Diagnostic Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound exams, including vascular, abdominal, and obstetric imaging.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for exams, explaining procedures and positioning them for optimal imaging.
- Operate ultrasound equipment, selecting proper technical factors and adjusting settings as needed.
- Record and maintain accurate patient data, including examination results and medical history.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
- RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Sonographer) registration in one or more sub-specialties.
- Graduate of a radiologic or ultrasonography program.
- Certification in CPR.
- Ability to lift, move, and transport patients as needed.
