The Morning Meal Service Specialist is accountable for the preparation, presentation, and clean-up of the breakfast service. This role requires delivering prompt, friendly, and courteous service to guests, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present breakfast items with attention to detail.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area throughout the service.
  • Complete closing tasks, including the proper storage of reusable goods and thorough cleaning of all equipment and areas.
  • Conduct inventory checks of food, beverages, and supplies necessary for daily operations.
  • Inspect the cleanliness and presentation of all dishes and utensils prior to use.
  • Dispose of used plates, utensils, napkins, and cups as needed.
  • Remove and discard leftover food at the conclusion of breakfast service.
  • Perform additional reasonable duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Essential Qualifications
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Previous experience in food service is advantageous.
  • Food Handlers Permit is required, but can be obtained post-employment.
  • Basic understanding of food and beverage preparation, service standards, and guest relations.
  • Professional appearance and grooming are essential.
  • Ability to visually assess the area and address any discrepancies.
  • Willingness to work weekends and adapt to a varied schedule.
  • Capability to stand, walk, and move throughout the entire shift.
  • Proficient in responding promptly and accurately to guest needs.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
