About the Role

This Vascular Examination Technician position at Christus Health offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic diagnostic imaging environment. As a valued team member, you will contribute to delivering exceptional patient care through advanced cardiovascular and vascular diagnostic exams.

Main Tasks:
  • Conduct thorough ultrasound assessments of blood vessels in the head, neck, and abdomen to aid in circulatory disorder diagnosis.
  • Participate in selected therapeutic procedures, including pseudoaneurysm compression.
  • Maintain meticulous records of test data and draft preliminary test result interpretations.
  • Collaborate with physicians in medical procedures such as biopsies and paracenteses.
Essential Skills:
  • An academic background in Medical Sonography from a recognized institution is crucial.
  • Previous experience in vascular ultrasound would be advantageous.
  • A certified RVS or RVT professional from a well-established association is required.
  • A current BLS certification is necessary.
